Container turnover of the Azov-Black Sea basin in July increased by 67.6%

According to the analytical online service SeaNews PORTSTAT, exports increased by 48.8%, imports – by 98.2%. The cabotage was 24 TEU.

For the Azov-Black Sea basin, the total container turnover of all Russian seaports in July 2023 corresponded to 17.5%.

Loaded containers were handled by 70% more than in July 2022. Of the total volume loaded, 5.1% accounted for refrigerated containers, 94.9% – for dry ones.

62.9% of loaded containers passed in import, 37.1% – in export, 0.01% – in cabotage.

Transshipment of empty containers increased by 62.8%.
